I used to work at the Hilton San Diego Resort & Spa . It is probably the closest to Sea World.

The two bedroom suite . . . It is very nice, but it will be very expensive. Bob Hope used to stay in that room when he came to golf in San Diego.

There are lots of passions to follow in San Diego and that hotelbye is the spot to begin finds what San Diego has to offer. In the San Diego holiday you'll stage outside of your rut and you'll examine new actions while you are here and you might just discover that acquiring a brand new search can be an experience in itself. Among the places must see from San Diego is Balboa Park. This park has over a 1400 acre and here you will find historic buildings, numerous museums, gardens, and natural space. The park was created for the Panama California Exhibition of 1915-1916. The commonplace structure is Spanish-Mexican model, reduced level structures that merge with the organic surroundings. On the list of shows of the park will be the Botanical Gardens and lily lake, the Museum of Man, the Museum of Natural History, the San Diego Museum of Art, and the famous San Diego Zoo. Even if you never enter a building the park is simply a beautiful place.

Ugh, the Hotel Circle area completely lacks character. But maybe you don't care about that. It is in the right region for you. The hostel idea is a great one, but it's not for everyone, and may not allow kids if you have them. I also highly recommend the Wild Animal Park, but that's a 45 min. drive north of San Diego, so not likely to fit into your agenda.

If you want more than Hotel Circle has to offer, I recommend looking in the Hillcrest neighborhood. It's adjacent to the Balboa Park/Zoo area. The Corvette Diner there is great fun, with or without kids, especially hopping on a weekend evening. You can also search hotel options in the neighboring Old Town area. Both of those areas are between the zoo and Sea World.

Any 2BR suite will be expensive, but I guess that's all relative. You want something really nice, you can check out this suite place in the Hillcrest area: http://parkmanorsuites.com/

But I'm sure there are cheaper options.

Point Loma Hostel. It doesn't have two bedroom suites, but it does have private rooms, some with bunk beds and some with double beds. You do have a share a bathroom, but the place is very clean, quiet, inexpensive, and a blast to stay at. I have stayed in hostels to five star hotels (maybe one day I will be able to say I have stayed at a seven star hotel lol!), but in San Diego, Point Loma Hostel is always my first choice.

We were able to walk to Sea World from the hostel (but we like to walk), and to get from there to the zoo we bussed but it wasn't so bad.

P.S. Wild Animal Park near San Diego makes the Zoo look unimpressive. Check it out :-)!

There are some reasonably priced hotels located in Hotel Circle, which is in between the zoo and Sea World. Hotels in the Mission Bay and Old Town areas would also be a good location.

You might consider Comfort Inn and Suites....there are 2 in Hotel Circle. Phone #: (619) 881-6200.
