Going to San Diego in July and deciding between two hotels.?

Question

For anyone that has stayed at either hotel which is better? It will be either the Ramada Conference Center or the Extended Stay Mission Valley.

That will depend on what you're plans are when you come here.



The Ramada is a nicer hotel but it is in Kearny Mesa which means you need a car to get anywhere. Not much in the area except businesses and the freeway. Nothing happening at all after sundown. Any restaurants in the area are typically for lunch for people that work in the area.



Extended Stay Mission Valley is closer to attractions and shopping. It's a little off the beaten track from the other hotels in the Valley but if you are coming for Comic-Con, going to the zoo, Sea World, or the beach this is a better choice. It's near the trolley line and a major mall, cineplex, and there are more places to eat and things to do at night.



Also, in July it will be a lot warmer in Kearny Mesa than Mission Valley.
